Treasurer & Board Member
Queen Mother Ma'At serves as Treasurer and Board Member of The Africa Indigenous Innovation Hub (TAIIH) and also holds a Board position with The Ma'Art, an organization dedicated to herbal medicine education, healthcare development, and community empowerment.
As Treasurer, she oversees financial governance, institutional accountability, budgetary management, and compliance systems, ensuring that TAIIH maintains transparent and responsible financial operations that support long-term sustainability.
Beyond treasury responsibilities, Queen Mother Ma'At also serves as Director of Financial Governance and Institutional Sustainability, where she helps guide the financial strategies and operational structures that enable the institution to grow responsibly and maintain ethical funding frameworks.
She additionally serves as Co-Director of Community Health and Herbal Advancement Programs, supporting initiatives that integrate indigenous medicine research, community health education, and sustainable healthcare development in partnership with The Ma'Art.
Queen Mother Ma'at is the National Association of Juneteenth Lineage CA, Inc. State Director & Region Six PackRim Director. In this capacity, she speaks on organizational boards representing Black American interests and issues across the nation; such as health care reform, antipoverty reforms, social economic justice, ACLU, WEAP, Move to Amend, & CA State Coordinated Care Initiatives.
Presently, Queen Mother Ma'at works as curator of African & Black World Footsteps, for "A Sense of Family" MoonRaker World Trade Enterprises. She is founder and intellectual property developer of expressions through education and health practices. These practices use "The Tree of Life Meditation System" by Ra UnNefer and "Just Living in This World" process developed for the PALO Alto VA Hospital Mental Health Continuity of Care Systems. Her trainings are oriented towards peaceful and personal conflict resolution skills as well as enhancement therapies.
She has successfully implemented "A Sense of Family" programming since 1989 nationally and internationally through after school programs from California to the US Virgin Islands.
Through her leadership and stewardship, Queen Mother Ma'At plays a vital role in ensuring that TAIIH continues to grow with financial discipline, transparency, and long-term institutional stability, helping build a foundation that supports innovation, education, and community advancement.
